Living in the Age of Technology

How is your relationship with your computer? Do you love it? Do you fear it?  Perhaps you would like to have relationship counselling with your computer! How we think and feel about our computer does affect our ability to use it as we would like to. If you are someone who doesn't like technology, we can organise a session specifically to address this, as this will be the first step in allowing your fiery expression to enter the world wide web community.  

Computers are very logical and orderly. This makes them easy to understand. They do NOT have a "mind of their own" as I've heard some clients proclaim. Computers, in fact, invite you to become more orderly in how you manage information.  

Our session about "you and your computer" is not an IT lesson, as such. Although we may cover things like naming files, storing files, and locating files if this is something you are having trouble with. We can also download, get acquainted with and test out 'meeting' software  programs like Skype and Zoom. If you have been avoiding Facebook, Twitter, Linked in or Instagram, I'm happy to help you get acquainted with these too. If social media is used in a healthy way it can be fun and a great way to stay connected with friends and family who live afar.  

Let me know what aspect of your relationship with your computer is troubling you. I will be able to help you. There is nothing like face to face communication. However, as the world becomes smaller due to the internet, we also need to know how to express ourselves using technology.
